The new SharePoint Online integration makes external sharing simpler and more secure. Documents stay in SharePoint Online. External participants access them through Objective Connect, without needing a SharePoint Online account.
How it works
Select a document in SharePoint Online and share it in an Objective Connect workspace. Workspace owners can only share documents they already have permission to access in SharePoint Online. External participants then open and download the document through Objective Connect, with no SharePoint Online account required. SharePoint Online remains the single source of truth throughout.
Why it matters
Your team keeps working in SharePoint Online as usual. Objective Connect adds a secure layer for external collaboration, giving workspace owners clear visibility over who accessed which documents and when. There are no manual file transfers, no duplicate files to manage, and no need to move content out of SharePoint Online.
