Building consent applications can involve hundreds of documents, from plans and specifications to certificates, reports and supporting information.
The new Document Management Service in Objective Build provides a clearer and more intuitive way to manage documents across the building consent lifecycle.
Documents are organised into folders aligned with key stages of the consent process, helping teams quickly locate the information they need. Files retain their original names, can be previewed directly within Objective Build and display key details including the contributor, date and current version.
Authorised users can also access document actions and view version history, supporting greater control and visibility as an application progresses. By connecting document management with application information and workflows, Objective Build provides one consistent place for BCA teams to manage the documents that support building consent decisions.
