The Social Services Regulator seeks to better support the safe delivery of social services throughout Victoria. For social service providers (SSPs) this will mean increased efficiencies with access to streamlined registration and reporting requirements, a common set of social service standards and a single independent regulator.
The Objective RegWorks solution will support the SSR to deliver on these efficiencies by providing a specialist registration and case management system. It will also support the management and audit of statutory response for breaches across the body’s entire lifecycle including inspections, investigations, sanctions and enforcement, helping to create a safer environment for all Victorians.
Providers of social services in Victoria who are in scope of the new scheme must register with the Social Services Regulator. This will help to ensure social service providers have the capacity to successfully deliver safe services. The work being undertaken will better protect service users in the future and help prevent potential harm.
