Improving transparency in Objective Build
Four features that will have everyone involved with an application on the same page.
Four features that will have everyone involved with an application on the same page.
More than 1000 hours of development has been funnelled into RFI management within Objective Build. You can now easily see when an RFI has been sent, organise responses and add attachments, and track RFI rounds. The animation below shows how an applicant will see, respond to and track RFIs in Objective Build.
It makes it easier for everyone involved with an application to be on the same page. By centralising communication in a single place, it reduces the need for calls to council and provides a clear record of the process.
We’ve added a bar for each Building Consent and made it easier to see the target date for each milestone, as well as any outstanding items that might be delaying a consent.
Take a look below to see how applicants can click through their application to track progress as well as any items that need attention. It provides a clear, visual explanation of any delays, as well as any change in status, again reducing the need to call council for updates.
The application inspections list will now allow users to see all required inspections and a detailed history of inspections that have been undertaken together with their results.
View each inspection by type and see their results. Retrieve any Site Notice or Inspection Report.
Most jobs require multiple inspections, this level of detail means the builder, or anyone else on the application can clearly see why an inspection failed, and what they need to do to pass the inspection. It also provides a clear, up front explanation of all the inspections required for the building.
Gathering the required documents for all application types has been simplified.
It’s now easier to see exactly what documents are required, and what documents are outstanding. At every stage of an application, you can see the status of each document attached to an application and easily retrieve all documents.
Submitting an application requires all critical documents to be attached – this eliminates delays if any documents are missing and means applicants know exactly what’s expected, so there are no surprises later in the process.
