Providing a swift and effective response to those in need

COVID-19 has had a significant impact on the way organisations work, especially when it comes to information management. For the Welsh Government, the transition from working in the office to working from home was sudden and required everyone to work digitally overnight. This would have been nearly impossible without already have the right information governance infrastructure in place. 

The Welsh Government was able to leverage Objective ECM, its Enterprise Content Management system, and Objective Connect, a secure file sharing and collaboration solution, to provide a swift and effective response to a global pandemic.

One of the ways the Welsh Government leveraged Objective Connect was to facilitate a crisis response by providing direct support to the citizens of Wales, such as food parcels, through coordination between providers, supermarkets, food banks, delivery companies, and local authorities. Objective Connect's intuitive interface enabled the Welsh Government to quickly set up a secure, cloud-based workspace that enabled the response network to access and collaborate on critical information with minimal training required.
